Matchmaking and robots for all at R-22
Day 2 of R-22 included both the matchmaking event Odense Investor Summit 2022 and interesting speeches on how robots are migrating into industries such as farming and construction. A total of 1.879 visitors visited today’s fair.
Robots are here to stay. Not just on the factory floor, but also in crop fields, in greenhouses, on construction sites and – in due time – in our daily life.
Those were some of the learnings from day 2 of R-22, the biggest robotics fair in the Nordic, where the conference program offered several interesting discussions and presentations about the implementation and use of robots – and drones – in for instance farming, construction and energy production.
Another key feature was a very intriguing presentation about autonomous robots and the impact it will have, if we set the very advanced robots of tomorrow free and release them into our society and everyday life.
More robotics fairytales
Otherwise, day 2 of R-22 was all about matchmaking, as R-22 had the pleasure of hosting this year’s Odense Investor Summit 2022.
At this event, startup companies and SME’s within robotics and drones are matched with potential investors from Denmark and abroad. Each of the aspiring entrepreneurs were thus given 15 minutes to pitch their business idea to the investors.
We hope to see many more Danish fairytales within robotics blossom from the event.
In general, the second day of R-22 was characterized by a high activity level and a lot of English glossaries as a result of visits from several delegations from abroad.
Apart from the foreign investors at Investor Summit, both a German, Norwegian and Finnish delegation had chosen to spend the day at the robotics fair in Odense.
“Odense specifically and Denmark in general has by now become world famous for our robots, and this is something we definitely see at R-22. It is wonderful to experience how visitors from all over the world have prioritized to visit our fair and use it as a way of gaining new knowledge and making new acquaintances,” says Katarina Fruerlund Deylami, Business Unit Manager hos Odense Congress Center.
In total, today’s fair was visited by 1.879 visitors according to official numbers.
